Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Books not available in our library’s collection may be borrowed through Interlibrary Loan from other Maine libraries and libraries from around the nation. Request an ILL by talking to a staff librarian in person, on the phone, or through email. All ILLs are picked up and returned to Wilton Free Public Library. There’s no additional cost for using this service!
Adult Outreach Services
If you are homebound and unable to use the library, we can help! The Adult Services librarian will assist you in choosing books and will deliver those books to your home every other week. Call or email the library for more information.
The library maintains public access computers for patron use. They are attached to the network printer (10 cents per side in black and white, 25 cents per side in color). Visitors are welcome to use their own earphones, the computers are not equipped with speakers.
Patrons of and visitors to the library may access the Internet via the library’s wireless network. The library’s WiFi is open access and always available both inside the physical building, and outside on the library grounds.
The library maintains a public photocopier for patron use. Copies are 10 cents per side in black and white, 25 cents per side in color. Copies can be made on standard letter or legal sized paper. Please see a librarian about special printing projects. The library accepts cash and checks.
Faxing & Scanning Services
The library maintains a fax machine for public use. To send a fax the cost is $1.00 for the first page, and $0.50 for each additional page. The library accepts cash and checks.
The library maintains a photocopier with capability to scan physical documents to PDF to be transmitted by email. There is no cost for this service.
Book Return Box
There is a book return box at the side entrance of the library. Any and all materials can be returned via the dropbox at any time – even when the library is closed. Both current and overdue material may be returned in the box.
