This past Saturday, June 8th, the Wilton Free Public Library hosted a very successful 2nd Annual Fancy Nancy Tea Party Picnic. Although it was a rainy day, over 100 people showed up to crowd into the bustling children’s room in their fancy attire. All the children sat around the rocking chair to hear the recently published Fancy Nancy book, “Fancy Nancy Fanciest Doll in the Universe” by Jane O’ Connor. There was a craft activity for the children to do, as well as a staged tea party photo booth with pictures taken by Lisa Bryant of Lisa Bryant Photography in Farmington, Maine. From 10:30-12, children and parents mingled, posed for pictures and ate some yummy treats that were brought to share. Every fancy young lady and dapper gentleman had a wonderful time and is looking forward to next year and other events to come! . . . → Read More: Fancy Nancy Party a huge success!
