In brief … The Wilton Free Public Library is located in the foothills of western Maine, alongside Wilson Stream in downtown Wilton. The Library serves the communities and citizens of the Wilton, Dryden, East Wilton, and East Dixfield. The Wilton Free Public Library Association was incorporated in 1901. Although it is significantly subsidized by the Town, the Library is still a private, non-profit corporation. We are proud to be a Family Place Library, emphasizing services and collections for young parents and their children.
