Friday Morning Storytime
Storytimes for all ages. Friday mornings at 10:30 AM
Includes songs, a story and related activity. All families welcome, and children should not be left unattended. You don’t need to have a library membership to attend.
Annual Summer Reading Program
All summer long, WFPL offers multiple themed storytimes, crafts and outdoor activities at the library and at local public parks, special presenters, and reading goals and prizes. Look for the schedule on our Facebook page sometime in June.
Fancy Nancy Picnic
In June, we celebrate summer with an outdoor picnic — fancy attire encouraged! We’ll serve tea and snacks and read the ever-popular Fancy Nancy books by Jane O’Connor. Strap on your cummerbunds, pearls and tutus and join us on the library lawn for some fancy fun!
Harvest Day
Every October, we welcome all things autumn. Cider and snacks, pumpkins and hay bales, painting, craft and chalk, bubbles and live animals galore! All outside on the library grounds.
Polar Express Night
In December, we gather for a cozy storytime to celebrate the Christmas holiday. Warm up with hot coco and singing of carols, followed by a reading of The Polar Express. Visit the Train Village to see the miniature train and all the decorated mini buildings. Wear your comfiest pjs and slippers. See if you can find hidden items in the Train Village!
