Thousands of books for all types of readers of all ages will be available at the Wilton Library’s Book Sale during the Blueberry Festival August 5 and 6. This is a big, well arranged sale and the price is right: you donate what you can contribute to help the library. Hours are Friday, August 5, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, August 6 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will take place at Western Maine Expo, 128 Weld Road in Wilton. In brief … The Wilton Free Public Library is located in the foothills of western Maine, alongside Wilson Stream in downtown Wilton. The Library, which serves the communities and citizens of the Wilton, Dryden, East Wilton, and East Dixfield was incorporated in 1901 as The Wilton Free Public Library Association. Although it is significantly subsidized by the Town of Wilton, the Library remains a private, non-profit corporation. We are proud to be a Family Place Library, emphasizing services and collections for young parents and their children.
Donate online! You will receive an email documenting your tax-deductable donation.
