Description: The WFPL is seeking a part time Library Director. The successful candidate will have a post-secondary degree and previous library experience (public library preferred). The preferred candidate will demonstrate technical fluency, supervisory and fiscal management skills, grant-writing/fund-raising experience, effective communication skills, and a commitment to patron and community service.

The Wilton Free Public Library Association, incorporated in 1901, is a non-profit organization which enjoys the generous support of the community. The Library is open 33 hours per week, has a paid staff of 7, and is governed by an all-volunteer Board of Trustees. The WFPL is proud of its status as a Family Place Library and is notable for its children’s programming and community outreach services.

Salary range is based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include sick leave and vacation time; an optional SIMPLE IRA retirement account is available.
