Wilton poet, Carolyn Gelland, will be reading from her new book, Dream-Shuttle, on Wed., October 16 at 6:30.  Gelland, who grew up in Europe and New York City, moved to Wilton with her late husband, poet Kenneth Frost   She is published in numerous literary journals.  Four-Alarm House, published in 2012, was her first collection of poetry published by Main Street Rag Publishing Co.  Both books will be on sale  after the reading.  Refreshments will be served.

We wander through history and back through these well-crafted poems that weave mythology, history, art, and the natural world with a dream world that leaves us wanting to read these poems again and again.  This is a profound and powerful second collection of poetry by Carolyn Gelland. –Jonathan K. Rice

The poetry and the passion, the world around us in our shared vigor and transience, is embodied in Carolyn Gelland’s poems. –Henry Braun
