Eli Bertin
Ms. Bertin, a native of Canada, grew up in Rumford, Maine and currently resides in Wilton. After two years of working in her own sewing shop, Eli decided to pursue her passion for art full-time. She has 30 years of experience in abstract and landscape painting.
Eli received her art education at UMaine-Presque Isle and the Maine College of Art, in Portland. Her work has been shown at the Turner Center for the Arts and many Portland venues, including the Lewis Gallery and many commercial locations.
Her inspiration comes from nature and indigenous art such as Native American, Aboriginal, and African. She also has 15 years experience in free-style drumming (hand drums), and has taught classes and performed at fairs and festivals throughout Maine. Her current obsession is origami.
