Young Comic Creators Workshop on Saturday, Jan. 17

The Wilton Free imagesPublic Library is hosting a Young Comic Creators Workshop on Saturday, January 17th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Middle school and high school students are welcome to attend this free workshop which will focus on creating, making, and self-publishing comics. The workshop will be facilitated by Dan Ryder, Mt. Blue High School teacher, and will encourage students to work with other young creators to share ideas, learn techniques, and discover ways to reach an audience for their comics.

Wilton Rug Hooking & Fiber Arts Group

Blueberry Festival Book Sale, Aug. 1 and 2

The Wilton Free Public Library will again host their annual book sale at the Western Maine Development, LLC building on Weld Street, this Friday (Aug. 1st) and Saturday (Aug. 2nd) during the Wilton Blueberry Festival.  Hours for the sale are Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM and Saturday, 11 AM to 4:30 PM.
